Dashrath Puri is a small colony consisting of around 1000 houses situated on Palam-Dabri road in West Delhi, India. Currently this colony comes under Dwarka Vidhansabha constituency (Earlier it was under Nasirpur constituency which is dissolved due to delimitation) and West Delhi (Earlier it was under Outer Delhi parliamentary constituency which is dissolved due to delimitation).

Dashrath puri is located close to other colonies of New Delhi such as Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Dwarka Sub City as well as the Indira Gandhi International Airport. IT city of India, Gurgaon is at a distance of half an hour from Dashrath puri.
MLA of Dashrath Puri's area is Praduman Rajput of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Member of Parliament is Mahabal Mishra. MCD councillor from this area is Tilotama Chaudhary.
Although it is a very small colony but people from different parts of India lives here. Population density mainly consist of people from Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Himachal Pradesh.
Dashrath Puri is a proposed metro station in the third phase of the Delhi Metro network on new line from Janakpuri (west) to Botanical Garden in Noida.[1]
